As with our previous work on No.2 Railway Cottage, we will begin by stripping the cottages back to their bare structure, leaving only the front walls intact. From this starting point, we will rebuild both cottages from the ground up, doubling their footprints with beautifully designed extensions that complement the character of the original structures.
The project will include raising the floors, a full rewire and replumb, and rebuilding to modern standards while ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship throughout. True to our approach, we will manage every phase of the process ourselves through direct labour.
We will also personally source all materials from our extensive network of trusted suppliers, running mini tenders for each phase to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality. This hands-on, detail-driven approach guarantees a superior result and optimal value at every stage.
When complete, Keegan Cottages will showcase two beautifully restored and extended homes that blend the timeless character of their historic origins with the comforts and style of contemporary living.
